Announcement of "BOOK" Ayako Motonaga Online Exhibition
Ayako Motonaga's Exhibition - "BOOK", which was held at VISIONS Gallery Visions Lev in April last year, will be held online for a limited time.
"Books are a pleasure to read, but they are also fascinating canvases. Different images emerge from the content, the font design, the composition of the photographs, and the two-part world that appears when you open the book. For this exhibition, I have carefully collected books, examined their pages, and drawn landscapes and scenes that I imagined from them." - Ayako Motonaga
These works are drawn and embroidered onto the pages of books, giving them the appearance of being three-dimensional sculptures.
This exhibition will showcase Motonaga's unique style, using the books he has collected as canvases.
During this period, we will offer free domestic shipping (excluding Hokkaido, Okinawa Prefecture, and remote islands).

Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, majoring in Conceptual Design in 2007.
After working at a design company, he began focusing on drawing in 2011.
He has held solo exhibitions at minä perhonen Kyoto store, Morioka Shoten Ginza store, Osaka Takashimaya store, IDÉE Jiyugaoka store/Roppongi store, krank marcello, etc.
He has also worked with PASS THE BATON to create original tableware, and has also worked on illustrations and corporate VI, including the logo for Amamdakotan in recent years.
