MAD ET LEN was born in an atelier in Saint-Julien-du-Verdon, a small village in the south of France where time flows slowly.
The brand name MAD ET LEN comes from the French baked good "Madeleine." In Marcel Proust's novel "In Search of Lost Time," there is an episode where eating a madeleine (written as mad.len in the text) dipped in tea brings back memories of the past. This is a famous scene where the act of recalling memories and emotions through taste and smell came to be known as the "Proust effect," and "memories" form the foundation of our perfumery.

Scent
The rich nature surrounding the atelier in the south of France is our source of inspiration. The limited materials available only at certain times provide us with sophisticated ideas. We converse with seasonal materials in harmony with nature's rhythm, focusing on simplicity, and delicately blend scents using traditional apothecary methods. We reject paraffin and other petroleum-based components, as well as CMR molecules. The fragrances, woven like stories, express a world of depth.

Object
We value crafting all our vessels and objects from rolled steel, without relying on technology, but instead utilizing techniques passed down by artisans. They are not mass-produced; each piece is handmade, and the fine textures, irregularities, and warped curves on the surface bear the mark of its creation. Their artistic presence is a blend of heavy robustness and delicate craftsmanship. The changing expressions over time evoke an imperfect and decadent beauty.

Free shipping for orders over 33,000 yen (tax included) per delivery address, and free shipping for orders over 44,000 yen (tax included) in Okinawa Prefecture.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

In case of defective product or delivery failure

If there is a problem with the product, such as a defective product, damage during delivery, or a product that is different from what you ordered, please contact online@visions.com within 3 days of receiving the product.

After checking the situation and the product, if we find that the product is defective, the delivery was incorrect, or the product is different from what you ordered, we will exchange or return the product. We will cover the shipping costs associated with the return. If you paid by credit card, we will refund the amount via the same credit card.
