MAD ET LEN
MAD ET LEN was born in an atelier in Saint-Julien du Verdon, a small village in southern France where time flows slowly.
The brand name MAD ET LEN comes from the French pastry "Madeleine." In Marcel Proust's "In Search of Lost Time," there is an episode where the protagonist's past memories resurface after eating a madeleine (written as mad.len in the text) dipped in tea. This is a famous scene that led to the term Proust effect, referring to the recall of memories and emotions through taste and smell, and "memories" form the foundation of our perfumery.

Scent
The rich nature surrounding the atelier in southern France is a source of inspiration. The limited materials that can only be encountered at specific times provide us with sophisticated ideas. We converse with seasonal materials that harmonize with nature's rhythm, prioritize simplicity, and delicately blend fragrances using traditional apothecary methods. We reject paraffin, other petroleum-based components, and CMR molecules. The fragrances, spun like stories, express a world of depth.

We value crafting all vessels and objects from rolled steel, utilizing techniques inherited by artisans without relying on technology. They are not mass-produced but handcrafted one by one, with the fine textures, irregularities, and distortions of the curves on the surface embodying the dedication from production. Free shipping for orders over 33,000 yen (tax included) per delivery address, and free shipping for orders over 44,000 yen (tax included) in Okinawa Prefecture.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

In case of defective product or delivery failure

If there is a problem with the product, such as a defective product, damage during delivery, or a product that is different from what you ordered, please contact online@visions.com within 3 days of receiving the product.

After checking the situation and the product, if we find that the product is defective, the delivery was incorrect, or the product is different from what you ordered, we will exchange or return the product. We will cover the shipping costs associated with the return. If you paid by credit card, we will refund the amount via the same credit card. Depending on the closing date of your contracted card company, the payment may be credited after the first withdrawal.
