MAD ET LEN
MAD ET LEN was born in an atelier in Saint-Julien-du-Verdon, a small village in the south of France where time flows peacefully.
The brand name MAD ET LEN is derived from the French pastry "Madeleine." In Marcel Proust's novel "In Search of Lost Time," there is an episode where eating a madeleine (written as mad.len in the text) dipped in tea brings back past memories. This famous scene led to the term "Proust effect" for recalling memories and emotions through taste and smell, and "memory" is the foundation of our perfumery.

We use only natural ingredients. We are committed to simplicity, creating recipes with very few raw materials. The abundant nature surrounding our atelier in the south of France is our source of inspiration. The limited materials that can only be encountered at specific times provide us with sophisticated ideas. We interact with seasonal materials that harmonize with nature's rhythms, adhere to simplicity, and delicately blend fragrances using traditional apothecary methods. We reject paraffin, other petroleum-based components, and CMR molecules. The fragrances we weave like stories express a world of depth. By interacting with the changing seasons' materials and respecting nature's cycles, we create artistic fragrances.

Object (Vessel/Object)
Our vessels and objects are all handmade by artisans from rolled steel, using techniques passed down through generations, without relying on technology. They are not mass-produced; each piece is handcrafted, and the texture with fine scratches on the surface is raw, with unique unevenness and distorted curves reflecting the thoughts from the time of production. The artistic appearance is a crossover of solid robustness and delicate artistry. The changing expressions over time evoke an imperfect and decadent beauty. Each one is irregular, and no two are alike. They are wild yet refined, works of art imbued with the spirit of craftsmanship.

Free shipping for orders over 33,000 yen (tax included) per delivery address, and free shipping for orders over 44,000 yen (tax included) in Okinawa Prefecture.

Orders are shipped from Osaka City, Japan, with trackable shipping, shipping costs range from ¥880 to ¥6,500 for domestic delivery (prices vary depending on order volume), and are usually shipped within 5 business days. Exact prices are listed on your order invoice.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGE

In case of defective product or delivery failure

If there is a problem with the product, such as a defective product, damage during delivery, or a product that is different from what you ordered, please contact online@visions.com within 3 days of receiving the product.

After checking the situation and the product, if we find that the product is defective, the delivery was incorrect, or the product is different from what you ordered, we will exchange or return the product. We will cover the shipping costs associated with the return. If you paid by credit card, we will refund the amount via the same credit card. Depending on the closing date of your contracted card company, the payment may be credited after the first withdrawal.

When returning or exchanging a product, we will need the defective product and the original box or packaging used when it was delivered. If the box or packaging is discarded, we will not be able to accept the return or exchange. Thank you for your understanding.
