Lomonosov is a renowned porcelain kiln in St. Petersburg, Russia's ancient capital, boasting approximately 280 years of history. It was established in 1744 by order of Empress Elizabeth as the "Russian Tsar's exclusive porcelain workshop." The history of European porcelain kilns began with Meissen (Kingdom of Saxony, now Germany) in 1710, Royal Copenhagen (Denmark) in 1731, Ginori (Italy), and Lomonosov (Russia) in 1744. This was followed by Sèvres (France) and Wedgwood (England). Lomonosov occupies a valuable position in the history of European porcelain kilns, and its pieces are still produced in the St. Petersburg workshop by artisans who are proud of their long tradition and always strive for the highest quality. Their history and elegance are highly regarded not only in Russia but also in Europe and the United States.

Animal Figurine

Figurines are small figures made from clay, terracotta, or metal. Starting around the 16th century, hosting lavish banquets became a status symbol for European aristocrats, who would elaborately present not only the food but also the table and tableware. Initially, table decorations were crafted from wax or pastry by each household's personal chef or baker. Eventually, these decorations began to be made from ceramic, and figurines took their place. Lomonosov figurines have been made by several generations of artists since 1744, resulting in unique facial expressions that vary from era to era. Furthermore, because each figurine is hand-painted and colored, subtle variations in color intensity and markings may occur. These figurines have been crafted over the years and are beloved by many for their charming expressions, even as the eras change.

Free shipping for orders over 33,000 yen (tax included) per delivery address, and free shipping for orders over 44,000 yen (tax included) in Okinawa Prefecture.

Orders are shipped from Osaka City, Japan, with trackable shipping, shipping costs range from ¥880 to ¥6,500 for domestic delivery (prices vary depending on order volume), and are usually shipped within 5 business days. Exact prices are listed on your order invoice.

The shipping size is determined based on the size, weight, and risk of damage during shipping. Some items may be labeled as large even if they are small. Thank you for your understanding.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGE

In case of defective product or delivery failure

If there is a problem with the product, such as a defective product, damage during delivery, or a product that is different from what you ordered, please contact online@visions.com within 3 days of receiving the product.

After checking the situation and the product, if we find that the product is defective, the delivery was incorrect, or the product is different from what you ordered, we will exchange or return the product. We will cover the shipping costs associated with the return. If you paid by credit card, we will refund the amount via the same credit card. Depending on the closing date of your contracted card company, the payment may be credited after the first withdrawal.

When returning or exchanging a product, we will need the defective product and the original box or packaging used when it was delivered. If the box or packaging is discarded, we will not be able to accept the return or exchange. Thank you for your understanding.
