The paper plants created by utei will captivate you with their enchanting beauty at first sight.
utei's first solo exhibition will be held at VISIONS Gallery Visions Lev (B1).
The plants, carved and drawn using carefully selected Japanese paper and dyes, are incredibly intricate and detailed.
In this exhibition, we will be displaying and selling around 100 “sculptural plants,” and will also be showcasing unfinished pieces that are first conceived as shapes and then sculpted as a test run when they are made, as well as white samples that include pieces before any changes are made.
"Based on my previous activities, which mainly consisted of hand embroidery on dresses and custom-made accessories, I would like to learn new ways of expression and grow using the techniques I have created myself.
The name "Utei" was my grandfather's pen name, and I feel a deep admiration and affection for it.
Take this opportunity to enjoy the world of three-dimensional plants that only Utei can create, which are different from the paper plants that everyone imagines.

After graduating from a fashion college, she began working under the name noora, hand embroidering, decorating and creating accessories for custom-made dresses.
A few years ago, he started expressing plants in 3D under the name Utei. He will start exhibiting and selling his works at a popup shop in 2024.
