Announcement of Birbira's exhibition 'VASES FOR RADIANCE'
For this exhibition, I created vases inspired by ancient Greek vases.
From around the 15th century BC, jars were used as tools in everyday life, primarily for storing and transporting wine, oil, and grain.
It features two handles and a slender body, and its functional design is simply beautiful.
Its plump appearance gives off a gentle feeling that makes you want to keep it close by.
We have taken a new look at such vases as flower vases for arranging flowers.
The distinctive designs have been simplified to allow the flowers and plants to come to life even more.
'Flower vase for pleasure'
I hope it will make your heart leap and give you a subtle sense of radiance.
